A Touch Stay alternative for Philippine properties

Touch Stay is a good product and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Here is the narrow set of things that are genuinely different, and the cases where you should buy theirs instead.

Their pricing page checked 30 July 2026

Where they win

Touch Stay does one thing and has done it for years. It is a mature standalone product with a longer feature list than ours, an established brand, and customers all over the world who are not running any particular PMS.

If you want a guest guidebook and nothing else — or you already run a PMS you like — that is a straightforward reason to buy theirs. Our Guest Guide is an add-on to a MangoHost plan and cannot be bought on its own.

Where we are actually different

It is already inside the system that has the booking

The guide is not a separate product you connect. The property, the rooms and the guests are already in MangoHost, so the guide and the reservation are the same account — one login, one bill, one support conversation.

Billed in pesos, at ₱500 a month

Ours is a peso price you can read on the pricing page. Theirs is a calculator in dollars, pounds, Australian dollars or euros — which means a Philippine operator’s bill moves with the exchange rate, and nobody at the property can quote it without opening a browser.

Your guests are not all reading English

Set a default language and enable others, then translate section by section, with a switcher on the published guide. For Korean, Chinese and Japanese guests in Puerto Galera, Boracay or Cebu, that is the difference between a guide being read and being ignored — and the interface your staff build it in is available in Tagalog too.

The recommendations can earn

The Local Area guide holds the places you actually recommend, with photos, addresses and map pins. Alongside them, link buttons — a dive trip, an island tour, an airport transfer — reaching the guest in the ten minutes after they drop their bags, which is when they are most likely to say yes.

What we verified

Touch Stay, from their own pricing page

  • Priced per property, via a calculator rather than a published figure
  • Currencies offered: USD, GBP, AUD, EUR — not PHP
  • Annual or monthly billing
  • A free trial is offered

Questions, answered

Is MangoHost's Guest Guide a full Touch Stay replacement?
For a Philippine property already running MangoHost, yes — it covers the same job: Wi-Fi, check-in, house rules, local recommendations and a map, opened from a QR code with no app to install. If you are not running MangoHost, it is not available on its own, and Touch Stay is the better answer.
What does Touch Stay cost?
They do not publish a figure. As of 30 July 2026, their pricing page is a calculator taking guidebook type and property count, with a currency selector offering USD, GBP, AUD and EUR — no pesos — and an annual or monthly toggle. A free trial is offered. Get a quote and compare it against ₱500 a month.
Can I use it without the rest of MangoHost?
No. It is an add-on to a MangoHost plan, not a standalone product. That is the trade: it is cheaper and better connected if you are already here, and unavailable if you are not.
