Every screen above, gated to the job that needs it
The reason most small hotels never give staff a login is not cost — it is that handing someone an account usually means handing them the whole system, revenue and all. MangoHost builds custom roles per hotel, so a login can be as narrow as one job actually requires.
Roles you define, not roles we guessed
A role is a name and a set of granted modules — Housekeeping, Front Desk, Kitchen, Night Duty, whatever your property actually needs. Create as many as you like.
Finer than a module, where it matters
The Restaurant module grants per screen — a cook gets the kitchen queue, a waiter gets Orders, neither gets the menu prices or the till.
The money screens aren’t on the list
Billing, team management and hotel settings are not modules at all, so they cannot be granted to a role by accident — on purpose or not at all.
A record of what everyone did
Every change, login and impersonation is written to an audit log with the actor and the time — for the whole platform, not just the convenient screens.
Core, and two add-ons
Everything you need to run the hotel is in the core price — including inventory. The two add-ons are separate products with their own audience: you pay for them only if you have a restaurant, or want a guide in your guests’ hands.
