MangoHost vs Smoobu, Hospitable and Beds24
We make one of the products on this page, so read it with that in mind. Unlike the international hotel platforms compared elsewhere on this site, all three of these publish a real number — the honest question is what else is not in it.

The first thing we found
All three publish pricing, and we want to be fair about that upfront: Beds24’s own page states plainly that there are no hidden fees and no commission on bookings, and nothing we found contradicts it. This is not a page about vendors hiding anything.
What is real, and checkable on each of their own pricing pages, is that the headline number is a base — one unit, one property, entry-level scope — and the things a real property typically needs next (more units, dynamic pricing, extra staff logins, channel connections) are separate, priced add-ons. The number you see first is rarely the number you end up paying.
MangoHost is ₱1,500 to ₱5,000 a month, flat per hotel, all 15 core modules included, on our pricing page.

Worth crediting
Beds24 is genuinely upfront about its pricing
Their own page states no hidden fees and no commission, and every add-on we found — the channel-link fee, the extra-user fee, onboarding — is listed with an exact figure on their pricing page. The structure is modular and takes real effort to add up; it is not deceptive. We would rather say that plainly than let a comparison page imply otherwise.
Where we think we win
One number, and it includes seasonal pricing
Base rate plus named month overrides is a core module, not a paid upgrade — no per-property dynamic-pricing fee stacked on top of the plan you already pay for.
No per-unit growth tax
Add a room inside your plan’s band and the bill does not move. On a per-unit model, every room you add costs you again, every month, for as long as you use it.
Peso billing, no processing cut
Flat monthly fee in pesos, paid by InstaPay. Nothing here takes a percentage of a booking, a security deposit or an upsell.
Several units, still one flat price
Each unit is a room type in the same calendar — enter one apartment as one room type at quantity one, repeat for the rest, and a ten-unit property still sits on one flat plan rather than paying for each unit again the way a per-unit model does.
Questions, answered
- Do Smoobu, Hospitable and Beds24 actually hide fees?
- Not as far as we could verify — Beds24's own pricing page explicitly states "no hidden fees" and "no commission on bookings," and we found nothing that contradicts that. What is real and worth knowing is that each one's headline number is a base price, and dynamic pricing, extra units, extra staff logins and (for Hospitable) payment-processing fees are separate, clearly-listed line items on top of it.
- Is that different from how MangoHost prices things?
- Yes, structurally. MangoHost's plans include all 15 core modules at one flat price within a room band, with exactly two optional add-ons — a restaurant module and a Guest Guide — both priced on the pricing page. There is no per-unit fee, no dynamic-pricing upsell, and no per-transaction processing cut.
- Are Smoobu and Hospitable even hotel PMS platforms?
- Not quite the same category — both are built primarily for short-term and vacation rental hosts, managing individually-booked units rather than a hotel's rooms as one property. Beds24 spans both. We compare them here because a number of small Philippine properties evaluate them alongside a hotel PMS, especially guesthouses and multi-unit operators.
- What would a 10-room property actually pay?
- It depends heavily on which modules you'd actually use — see the worked examples below for Smoobu and Beds24, built from the exact per-unit and per-connection figures on their own pricing pages. We could not build a confident total for Hospitable, because their base tier price is calculator-rendered rather than shown as static text.
