Hotel management software for Cebu properties
A city hotel and a Mactan beach resort are not the same business. Neither should run the same way.
The regional office is actually on the island
One week that outweighs the rest of the month
Two businesses under one province
What is true here
We do not have a customer in Cebu yet, and we would rather say that plainly than have a page imply otherwise. What we can offer is a system built around the two things that actually differ here: the accreditation office and a demand calendar with one enormous, dated spike in it.
Market-specific, not keyword-specific
The local realities the system has to respect
Seasonality, permits, booking sources and the shape of the property matter more than a destination name in a headline.
The regional office is actually on the island
DOT Regional Office VII — Central Visayas — sits on the ground floor of the LDM Building, at the corner of Legaspi and MJ Cuenco Streets in Cebu City. Unlike a region whose office is a plane ride from the properties it accredits, this one is a local reality: 691 tourism establishments were accredited in Cebu Province as of 15 December 2025, and accreditation is mandatory for hotels, resorts, travel agencies and transport operators under the Tourism Act of 2009 (RA 9593).
One week that outweighs the rest of the month
Sinulog falls on the third Sunday of January every year — 18 January for the 2026 festival — and DOT-7 was projecting upward of 300,000 arrivals for it. That is not a gradual peak season; it is a specific, dated week that a rate calendar either accounts for or loses money to.
A named January override is where that premium lives today — rates are set per room, per month, so Sinulog's week is priced as part of January's rate rather than singled out night by night. Coarser than the calendar deserves, and worth knowing before you plan around it.
Two businesses under one province
Cebu is not one tourism market. A hotel in the city runs on business and MICE travel booked direct or through a corporate account; a resort on Mactan or a dive operation further south in Moalboal runs on leisure travel booked through an OTA months in advance. Both are real, and they take different bookings from different channels — which is the reason every booking records its source rather than assuming one channel mix fits every property in the province.
A restaurant that is often the bigger business
A city hotel's food and beverage operation frequently outearns its rooms, particularly where banquets and corporate events are part of the business. The departmental profit split — rooms and F&B judged separately, with food cost of sales drawn from the stock ledger rather than estimated — is built for exactly that shape of property, not just a beach resort with a small breakfast kitchen.
