Vacation rentals are now a first-class property type

MangoHost was built for hotels, and a hotel PMS asking a private apartment owner for BIR registration and a Mayor's permit was always going to turn away exactly the host who most needed a real system instead of a spreadsheet. Property kind is now chosen at signup, and it decides which onboarding checklist you actually see.

A hotel is still verified as a business — BIR and a Mayor's permit, because an LGU licenses an establishment. A vacation rental is verified as a person instead: a photo and a Philippine government ID, because a private owner renting out an apartment simply has no business papers to give. Approval publishes the same outcome either way — a bookable profile a guest can send a deposit to.

Pricing had to change with it. A hotel's plan is sized by room count, which makes no sense for a place with exactly one unit. Rentals are now priced by how many properties you list — each whole place counts as three of a plan's units, so Starter covers 3 properties, Growth 6, Pro 11 and Scale 16, on the same four prices a hotel pays. List one apartment or several; each is its own listing with its own calendar, switched from the header the same way a group running several hotels already works.

Housekeeping also got smarter for a property with no on-site team: automatic checkout now queues the unit for cleaning on its own, and a stay nobody manually checked in gets checked in the day after arrival — so a single unattended apartment doesn't depend on someone watching the calendar all day.
