Solution by property
Built for a property people travel for the water
Dive trips and island tours as bookable extras, and a guide that answers the questions before your guests ask them at the desk.

Dive trips, tours and transfers, priced like a room
A Local Area guide that is actually about the water
Day-use for the diver between flights
Why this property shape needs a different answer
A guest does not book a dive resort for the room. They book it for what happens off the property — the reef, the boat, the operator you trust and the ones you don't. None of that is a line on a normal hotel booking, so it gets arranged by hand: a note in the reservation, a WhatsApp to the dive shop, a price agreed verbally and remembered by whoever answered the phone.
That works until the diver who booked two dives is invoiced for one, or the boat time nobody wrote down clashes with checkout.
Dive trips, tours and transfers, priced like a room
Optional services attach to a booking the same way a room does — a dive package, a tour, an airport transfer, priced per person, per night, or both, and settled with everything else at checkout. It is on the reservation rather than in a side conversation, so it survives a shift change.
A required choice group works for the things every guest picks one of, like a dive package tier; an optional add-on works for the things only some guests want. Both are built once, in Settings, and offered on every booking after that.
A Local Area guide that is actually about the water
The Guest Guide's Local Area section is where a resort like this earns its keep — dive sites, boat schedules, currents and conditions, the operators you actually recommend, each with a photo and a map pin. It is what a guest reads the night before a dive instead of messaging the front desk.
Link buttons next to a recommendation reach the guest in the ten minutes after they drop their bags, which is when a second dive or a sunset tour is easiest to sell.
Day-use for the diver between flights
Not every guest needs the room overnight. A booking can be day-use — a shower, a locker, a place to wait between a morning dive and a late flight — priced and tracked separately from an overnight stay, so it does not distort your occupancy figures or sit oddly in the calendar.
Weather that is actually current
The published guide shows live local weather, not a static paragraph someone wrote once and never revisited. On a property where the plan for tomorrow depends on today's conditions, a guide that is quietly wrong is worse than no guide.
One system, whichever guest arrived on your calendar
A diver who found you through GaleraHub, one who booked direct, and one who walked in after a boat dropped them off all land in the same calendar, the same guest profile and the same optional-services flow — not three different processes depending on how they got there.
Worth knowing before the demo
Optional services need a channel to sell through
Optional services resolve automatically on bookings that arrive through the API — GaleraHub today, and a direct booking widget when one exists. A booking taken manually at the desk is priced as one total, so a dive package sold at the counter goes into that total rather than appearing as its own line item. Worth knowing before you plan around it.
