Hotel management software for El Nido and Coron
We do not have an office here. What we have is a system built for exactly the seasonal swing this coast runs on.
Your DOT office is in Makati, not in Palawan
Amihan and habagat, and a rate calendar that should know the difference
Two towns, not one market
What is true here
We are honest about this one: MangoHost does not have a customer or a local integration in Palawan the way it does in Puerto Galera. If that matters to you, it should — ask us directly on a call rather than take a page's word for it.
What is true regardless of where we are based is that El Nido and Coron run on a sharper seasonal swing than most of the country, and a system built for that swing is worth describing on its own terms.
Market-specific, not keyword-specific
The local realities the system has to respect
Seasonality, permits, booking sources and the shape of the property matter more than a destination name in a headline.
Your DOT office is in Makati, not in Palawan
El Nido and Coron fall under DOT Regional Office IV-B — MIMAROPA — headquartered on Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati City, not on the island. MIMAROPA also covers Marinduque, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro and Romblon, four very different tourism markets sharing one regional office a plane ride from Palawan itself.
Accreditation still runs through that office regardless of the distance, and it is the same flag in onboarding as everywhere else — shown if you have it, nothing blocked if you do not.
Amihan and habagat, and a rate calendar that should know the difference
The Amihan season — the northeast monsoon, roughly November to May — is when El Nido and Coron are busiest: calm seas, good underwater visibility, and the cool-dry months of December through February drawing travellers escaping winter elsewhere. March is often the single best month for conditions. April, May and November are the shoulder, and June through October is the quiet, wetter habagat stretch.
A base rate with named month overrides handles that directly — a December–February rate, a March rate, a habagat rate — set once rather than adjusted by hand every time the season turns.
Two towns, not one market
El Nido and Coron are both Palawan and both sold to the same traveller, but they are hours apart and run largely as separate operations with separate boats, separate island-hopping circuits and separate arrival points. A channel or a rate that works for one does not automatically apply to the other, which is why pricing and availability are tracked per property rather than assumed to generalise across the province.
Booked through a screen, most of the time
A large share of demand here arrives from abroad, discovers the property on Agoda, Booking.com or Airbnb, and books before ever speaking to anyone. Every booking recording its source is what turns that impression into a figure — what share actually comes from each platform, and what a direct-booking push would need to claw back.
Island-hopping tours, transfers and van charters are the natural fit for optional services — priced per person, resolved as a line item on the booking rather than settled separately at the dock.
